Great, clean peaceful night. Breakfast was tasty. Staff kind and helpful.
We stayed one night at the quality inn and suites in Troy, Alabama. Upon arrival, we went into our room and found feces on the bed and the wall. Not only was there feces but the shower was disgusting and the room was clearly unclean. We got switched to another room where we found dirt of some sort in the bed. I woke up with a rash on my body from the bed. The floor is also so gross that all of our feet are sticky. In both rooms we found ants in the beds. Do NOT stay at this hotel.
It is a simple but very affordable hotel. We stayed there for a youth softball tournament and it was very adequate for what We needed. The staff was awesome. They let us hang out in the dining room and watch a baseball game at night. Hope I don't get them in trouble but it was nice of them to allow us a place to hang out with the other families we were with.
Thank Heavens we're here again. We had a bad stay at another hotel last night (in Columbus) and just came running to this Quality Inn. We feel like we're home. This place is just plain awesome. It really brings things into perspective when you have a bad hotel to compare it to. This Quality Inn is clean, well appointed, excellent breakfast and utterly terrific personnel. One couldn't ask for more but there is more. Hospitality. If you aren't on the road a lot, you won't know how important hospitality is, but just hit the road for a few days and if you can't find a place like Quality Inn of Troy, good luck to you.
