Sorry, fire ants, dog poop on lots, helicopters flying super low, gunshots close by.....not an ideal "resort"
Nice park. They are really more about selling lots than renting lots, it appeared to me.
Deer Run RV Park is quiet with great views of wooded areas. There are two ponds with catch-n-release. The attached photos show the larger, lower pond. Staff are great to work with. The park is well kept.
The Owners Barry and Leigh are nice and I met then during their time purchasing the property, and they have built it from a nice place to a classy place with a Spa. With plans of a part-time food vendor coming in February!
The people that worked here were very nice. They gave us free popcorn at check-in and guided us to our lot. The lots were a good size, with level concrete pads and full hookups. They really need a playground for kids, but overall, it made a great overnight stop.
